FAQs

What are Continuing Education Units (CEUs)?

CEUs are short, focused learning experiences designed to help you grow professionally and personally without committing to a full academic course or degree program. They are typically offered in an asynchronous, self-paced format.

Who can enroll in Concordia’s CEUs?

Anyone seeking to expand their knowledge or strengthen their vocation may enroll. CEUs are open enrollment—no admissions application required.

How do I enroll in a CEU?

Simply create an account, select the course you want and complete your purchase. Once your registration is processed, you’ll gain immediate access to the course materials.

Do I need any special technology to participate?

No special software or equipment is required. CEUs are accessed entirely online through a web browser.

How long do CEUs take to complete?

Each CEU varies in length and workload. Most are intentionally designed to be manageable for busy professionals, allowing you to progress at your own pace.

Are CEUs self-paced?

Yes. All current CEUs are asynchronous and can be completed on your schedule. In the future, some offerings may include optional or required live components.

How much do CEUs cost?

Pricing varies by course. Each CEU lists its price on the course detail page before purchase.

Can I use a preferred partner discount?

Yes. If your organization is one of Concordia University, Nebraska’s preferred partners, you will go to the microsite and complete a form to receive your discount code. You will then enter your discount code during the checkout process. Your reduced rate will be applied automatically at checkout.

Do CEUs award academic credit?

No. CEUs are non-credit learning experiences. They are designed to provide professional development, continuing education documentation and lifelong learning opportunities.

Will I receive proof of completion?

Yes. Upon finishing a CEU, you will receive a digital certificate of completion that you can download, save and share.

Can CEUs count toward licensure or professional requirements?

This depends on your profession and state or organizational guidelines. You are responsible for verifying whether a specific CEU meets the requirements of your licensing or certifying body.

How do I access my course after enrolling?

After purchase, your CEU will appear in your learner dashboard. Click into the course to begin your modules.

Can I track my progress?

Yes. The platform automatically tracks your completed modules and overall progress.

What if I experience technical issues?
